THE ENROLMENT COMMITTEE AT CHHATTISGARH STATE BAR COUNCIL

(42) APPLICATION OF RULES: - 

The Rules 42 to 45 shall govern the conduct of business of the Enrolment  Committee. 


(43) The Enrolment Committee shall dispose of every application for admission as  an Advocate referred to it by the Secretary of the Council under section 26 of the  Advocates Act, in the manner prescribed under the Act. 


(44) MEETINGS: - 

The Chairman of the Executive Committee shall direct the Secretary to convene  such Meetings of the Enrolment Committee as he thinks proper for the disposal of the  business required to be transacted by the Committee and he shall call a Meeting of the  Committee in this respect.

(45) QUORUM:

In all such Meetings of the Enrolment Committee, two Members present shall  form a quorum and in the absence of such a quorum no business shall be transacted  at any Meeting.

Facts of the Case :- 1. M.C. Mehta is an environmentalist who has filed a public interest litigation before the Supreme Court on the ground that environ- mental pollution is increasing rapidly in Delhi due to industries. 2.
